The Moonlight in My Heart

The moonlight shines into human life, inspiring enduring acts of moon worship and sacrifice! "When I was young, I didn't know the moon, calling it a white jade plate." Lying in my mother's arms, gazing at the bright, round moon, I asked what the shadows in the moon were, and the answer was: "Grandma Moon is spinning thread." Thus, the moonlight in Dihua Miaogou felt especially familiar, because my mother's methods of spinning thread and weaving clothes were similar to those of "Grandma Moon."

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, a long table was placed in front of the door, laden with homegrown walnuts, chestnuts, apples, grapes, and the flatbreads my mother had baked. First, incense was burned, and we kowtowed to the moon, then sat around the long table to enjoy the fruit and flatbread dinner. Back then, there was no electricity in the mountains; with the soft moonlight, there was no need for kerosene lamps, and my parents and siblings were moved to tears!

Under the moonlight of Fengguan Mountain, the sound of reading aloud filled the air, and laughter never ceased. The moonlight is so long, urging me to hurry; the moonlight is so desolate, pitying me as a single parent; the moonlight is so faint, disliking my lack of ambition. The bright moon shines on my large bed. Middle school days were hard to endure!

"This feeling cannot be dispelled, just as it leaves my brow, it rises again in my heart." The moonlight of Shangzhou warms my heart, urging me to grow. Under the moonlight of Shangzhou, winter doesn't feel cold, summer doesn't feel hot, being alone doesn't feel lonely, and no one blames my eccentric thoughts. I truly wish to be bathed in such moonlight forever.

"People have sorrow and joy, separation and reunion; the moon has its phases of waxing and waning." Graduating from university, there are so many disappointments, so many unsolved mysteries; I often recite ancient poems to console myself. The moonlight of Zhulin Pass shines into my lonely heart, unsure how to cope with the complexities of social relationships. In the sorrow of being far from home, I finally understand the sentiment of "Chang'e should regret stealing the elixir, her heart yearning for the blue sea and sky every night."

The moonlight over Liuxianping falls on the drunkard, who recites alone, "Deep in the forest, unknown to man, the bright moon comes to shine." "Let us drink fine wine and get drunk on the high platform under the moon." Transferred from the South Mountain to the North Mountain, he still cannot understand the wordless book of heaven and earth. The moonlight can be seen even when it disappears, but his loving mother is gone and will never return. He makes up his mind to settle down and be filial to his mother without waiting.

"My heart has its own bright moon, forever full and never waning." This confidence comes from hard work and disdain for all kinds of misunderstandings. Raising children is a heavy responsibility, and they live crammed into one room. He is not afraid of the moonlight shining on him and staying up all night, only hoping that his children will become successful. The moonlight in Shangzhen awakens the vow that has been dormant for many years, so he sits alone in his humble abode, writes furiously, and finds joy in it!

From his mother's intuitive understanding of "Grandma Moon" to the legend of "Chang'e flying to the moon"; from the ignorance of Dihua Miaogou to the indifference to honor and disgrace in Shangzhen; he has come all this way with the moonlight. The moonlight in our hearts is sometimes dim, sometimes bright; sometimes it carries autumnal thoughts, sometimes it sings of reunion; sometimes it stumbles and strays, lost and disoriented; sometimes it shines brightly, bringing joy and triumph…

“The people of today do not see the moon of old, yet the moon of today once shone on the ancients.” The moonlight in our hearts can transcend time and space, sharing inner insights with the ancients and inheriting the moon’s magical charm! Let us pay homage to the moonlight in our hearts, walk the long road of life well, for time waits for no one!

There's a kind of meeting that feels like a long-awaited encounter.

When     I first arrived in this city, the weather was a hazy, grayish white. It was already the height of summer, and there was a humid, stifling heat.     At the subway exit, I saw Mo Xiaobei struggling to find me in the crowd. She took my suitcase, then pretended to be incredibly strong, smiling happily at me and revealing her cute little tiger teeth. I followed Mo Xiaobei through several subway stops until we finally arrived at her rented room. The moment I opened the door, it felt like I had entered a disaster zone. Just as I had imagined, her room was a mess. Several pairs of shoes were scattered haphazardly on the floor, and bottles and jars were strewn about on the table, along with leftover food that had been moldy for days. I turned to look at Mo Xiaobei, who scratched her head sheepishly. "I haven't cleaned the house these past few days. Since you're here, could you help me tidy up?" I knew she was always like this, so I shook my head h...

Five-degree slanted characters (Part 2)

Chi Zhoumu played three games of League of Legends in a row. Whenever he encountered a problem he couldn't figure out, he had to shift his focus to prevent himself from being trapped by his chaotic thoughts. After the three games, Chi Zhoumu stared at the computer for a long time, lost in thought. "No, I have to go out for a walk and relax," Chi Zhoumu thought to himself. When Chi Zhoumu went out, it was already past eight o'clock in the evening. The streetlights emitted a quiet, dim yellow light, and only a few people were running on the playground. The moonlight was faint, casting overlapping shadows, and the road was deserted. He went to the pavilion, sat down on a bench, and lazily admired the reflection of the library lights on the lake. Two or three couples were scattered on the small island in the lake. "It's hard to find such peace and harmony in the bustling city," he thought. After sitting for about twenty minutes, just as he was ...

Looking up at the starry sky

The night is deep, and I can't fall asleep alone. I open the window and see the twinkling stars, but are you the brightest one?     I remember the first time I saw you was in my final year of junior high. I stood nervously behind you, watching my classmates register one by one, and my name was left unassigned. Yes. I was timid and cowardly, and because I didn't have the money for tuition, I didn't dare to speak to you. I just stood there, standing there.     Later, you noticed me, smiled slightly, and asked, "Have you registered?" I shook my head. You asked again, "Are you having trouble?" I nodded. "Come with me!" When I took out my blankets from a corner of the school, I saw tears in your eyes; and I couldn't hold back anymore and burst into tears. You took the blankets, took my hand, and walked towards the dormitory building.     I've always thought of myself as a stubborn child, someone no one could melt the thick ice in my hea...
